"Because climbing all the way to the top not only requires physical strength, but sheer determination and a pinch of faith."

Honestly I never did find climbing that fascinating, until I was pushed by a certain friend of mine to try it out, by loaning gears to me for free so that I could climb for a cheaper price (Rm18 instead of Rm30 with rental). Now I think it's a good sport, just that I lack the stamina and hand strength, tsk tsk. The ang-moh children there are so absolutely adorable when they climb I could just feast my eyes on their cute antics when I'm dead beat lying down after climbing those walls. I really don't mind spending my Saturdays off there, maybe I might get abs. (Haha, yes it's just day dreaming, but it's an inspiration okay. ;p )

Lately my life has undergo some major changes, give and take the good and bads. It altered my perspective in certain areas, and definitely help me grow in the level of maturity. To a certain realization that somethings are better off in different ways, although it's difficult to accept it during the start of it. Now, I'm adapting, and so far it's going on well. I've bid more goodbyes than ever in September, and it ain't helping the situation, but true friends help ease the transition a whole lot, you know who you are. And I really appreciate them, even though it might be as simple as just a conversation over msn, or just being there without a clue on what's happening.

Finals is in a months time, or barely that, and I'm kinda starting to freak out by looking at the amount of books and notes I have to read through and absorb within the limited time period. I'm such a procrastinator, who only works under immense pressure. Those tv series has got to go, been entertained too much by Mr. Gregory House, Serena Van der Woodsen, and ANTM.

Alright, made up my mind, I shall really work my ass off on my workload today, and tomorrow I shall enjoy myself with some girls day out, and maybe go kart *crosses fingers*.

Tinges of little delights in other forms

Individual Portrait

Jia's birthday house party on the 9th Sept, with a lok lok truck to break the ordinary buffet dinner. I can safely say that balloons makes everyone me happy, and they are such happy ornaments, what more helium balloons! (; Almost all pictures of the night had balloons in it.

Obligatory group photo. (;

Birthday kisses for the birthday girl.

That night was a blunder night for me.
1. Karl spilled chilli sauce on my white skirt.
2. I knocked Zi's plate off his hand.
3. Zi knocked my plate of cake down, and the whole cake splattered on FungKeng's Nike's.

Le sigh, so clumsy I know. ):
I spent half the time trying to clean up things.
Should've been more careful.

Lesson learnt the hard way

Merdeka's eve, Curve's Coffee Bean
11.47pm

There's that magnet of colorful alphabets spelling Amsterdam, keyring wooden shoe from Holland, a set of Matryoshka doll with detailed flower paintings, a set of bath soap and lotion from Crabtree and Evelyn (which really smell so heavenly!), and a stack of postcards from everywhere you go. (: You spoil me, really, and I thank you for that.

All of it now sits quietly on my study table, and looking at them reminds me of you, and it sorts of became my company when I needed my time alone. In my little heart I often question myself whether does presence really matter? Can skype and phone calls replace being physically there? Honestly, I've already found my answer. Because even merely sitting in the car, or sitting in Murni's sipping up Mango Special with roti canai overdressed till we got stares, taking random candid photo, it's just the spending time with you.

We'll work hard, and in few years, prove to the world that we can outdo the complications of the world, that we're strong enough to achieve our dreams.

==================================================================

Right, why is it that approaching the year end, we all seem to get very very busy and tied up? My work load is piling up to a scary one, and the hanging out definitely has to be cut down to cope up. Nevertheless, I love being busy, I love squeezing out that few precious hours to de stress even though it meant sleeping at insane hours, I love schedules without break. It makes me feel alive, and steers me from thinking too much.

I think I've change my lifestyle a whole lot starting Jan this year, all part of the growing up process I supposed. My chocolate cravings are suprisingly not surfacing anymore, till the extent that two full bars of dark choc and a Guylian seashell chocolate is still seated comfortably on my table, screaming "Eat me!". Not that it helped in the process of losing some weight, but I healthily gained one or two kgs over 2008.

Currently am supposed to finish my revising for my financial management mid term tomorrow, which holds 20% of my final mark, and I am procrastinating while typing this out, eagerly waiting for bittorent to up my speed for Gossip Girl Season 2 Ep 2. I adore Chuck Bass, for the interesting personality he has in the show, very charming indeed, you have to agree with me! Stupid laptop just had to crash on me, leaving me with a broken heart as the pictures I carefully, okay, not so carefully accumulated over the months. I should have backed it up, urgh. ): Least my copies of movies are still intact in the d drive. Sob.

Kind people, please send me photos once again. I pinky promise I will start burning my pictures into cds as backups, and make a reminder to get a portable hard drive asap. (: (: (:

I'm up for the challenge

I love after-rain weather. (;

Currently in Starbucks SS2, at the open area on the second floor. The swooshes of water as the cars drive pass puddles revitalizes the tired mind. The cold wind is breezing through, and I'm feeling pretty much at ease. You know, in the end, it's not the drink that you're paying for, it's more like the atmosphere, that second home. The unique one of a kind music.
I likeeeeeeeee.

Kiss the rain

I recently found out about the irony of life, very intriguing in fact.
Just few years ago, I get easily annoyed by this certain friend of mine, because of the way he carried himself, or for more other personal reasons.

And just now, we were just having a nice conversation of Venice and life plans over Subway's ! sandwiches and cookie, I actually enjoyed the company, without even realizing it. It's so rare nowadays where I can just be myself, and spill my thoughts over things.

Funny how things always turn out, as we mature over the years.
You've managed to crack me up, made me smile through those stress, and sometimes compliments are so needed in life, eventhough we all know it's just bull-shit.
Thanks for the glass necklace all the way from Venice, very sweet of you. (:

KarlSon just send me this emo song on youtube. *click*
It has been repeating itself for the fifth time in ten minutes, indicating an emo night.
Bad thing is, I already promise myself to finish up my AFW3021 readings so I can officially start working on my assignments which are already piling sky high.

Of budgeting, and cost control and direct material standards, yikes.

MSN became a nice platform for a hearty chat today too. Managed to rant to a friend concerning some issues, when I barely talk nor communicate with him when he left for overseas years ago. I like it when there's a more serious side in chatting, other than the normal "LOL's" and "hahah" and being random. Oh, but I love receiving new songs to add to the playlist.

My weekend was such bliss, spending time with people I barely get to see nowadays. Too bad it's now gone, and it's back to the cold hard reality. Those chocolate sundae cones taste especially good around you. ;p

I'm in dire need of a big hug right now.
And as you can see, my mind is all scattered, as how this post was written.

Scattered.

On just one happier note, I found time to pamper my face! (: Though it was merely ten minutes.
And oh look, I just broke my self imposed bed time curfew. Le sigh.

Life in 1,2,3

1. I have twoooo big ulcers that is hurting so badly I can barely eat yummy food. I practically eat like a grandmother now. Sigh.

2. Passion world tour was good.

3. My body have been pampered much lately, in just a week, I've went jogging up kiara hill, cycling, rock climbing@camp5, swimming@kiara club, hiking@Bukit Gasing. If my work load could lighten up, I can catch more sleep, and get that healthy glow.

4. Catching up with friends have been very good. Lynn was back from Sg for a day or two and it was bliss. Unagi and salmon for lunch, catching up with life, more eating, shopping!, trying out clothes and taking silly camwhore shots in dressing rooms. Sigh, I miss you already. Thanks for those letters, and stuffs from Amsterdam. I still want picturessss!

5. Stocked up on facial mask from Montagne Jeunesse and Nivea. Will have to find time to slap on those creamy mask to rejuvenate the very tired face.

6. Drank more bubble tea than I'm supposed to. Green tea Green tea Green tea Mocha.

7. And cranium was a bunch of fun, apart from doing embarassing stunts and whatnots. How I spent 080808 was good, even though the day started off quite badly.

8. Currently googling up yearbooks and scrapbooks for ideas. Hmm, I should get back to work. Light digression over here, have a great week people! I know I'm going to enjoy mine.

For tonight, and memories keepsake

Spot me!

My high school was filled with a million and one incidents. And it was a few hours ago where we were pouring out all the little memories in our minds about the good ol' days, excluding studies obviously. It felt so good reliving those moments in the mind, where things were less complicated, we were all much naive people, and rebellious.

We were happily reminiscing, and realized that we weren't such goody two shoes after all. There was this story where the prefect and the librarian/asst monitor who were constantly out of class, taking every possible chance to walk around school just like that. From buku pontengs, submission of attendance to the office, editorial board duties, toilet breaks.. anything possible, they are the ones volunteering themselves. Hahaha, till to a point where all teachers know about their habits. It wasn't a very good thing though, but I enjoyed it immensely, the freedom.

Oh, and there was the cleanliness award, where the 'cleanest' class will be awarded the medal for a week. Guess whooooooo went crazy obsessed over it? Yes, we were THAT kiasu over this particular award, till we won it almost every other week. Drumroll applause to Jiayi.

There was the incident of playing mafia during bm class, and half the back of the class were so unusually quiet and were closing eyes.. HAHAHAHA, I couldn't remember this though. And it came to class page, where we were burning paper edge (for deco purposes) at the back of the class when teacher was infront teaching. Oh gosh, the horror, the fun, the excitement and thrill back then.

Of course there were some that I would rather keep to myself and not mention here, but infatuation is quite something that makes life happier back then. Also, the only clear memory of form one was easter day. Karl and Zixian were my classmates back then, and as everyone knows, form one is the stage where girls hate boys. Absolutely detest. So cf was giving out hard boiled eggs that very day, and to pay back for those annoying kicking of chairs I endured, snitched the pencil box of the table, and squashed the egg in it. GOSH, THAT WAS THE BOMB! (:

And the friends that I made, the bond shared, priceless. As of now, I should really head to bed for some quality rest. Cheers to the five years of 'uniformed' memories.

Through the lens

The cherry of the icing for the holidays was the long awaited trip to Penang. It wasn't the best destination for a holiday getaway, but the people made it such a memorable one, friends who you know will stick by you even if the whole world has their back upon you, which is basically all that mattered. Besides that, it was food haven, where we practically stuff ourselves silly with tons of unhealthy yet delicious hawker food. Most of the photos are already up on facebook for you all to grab, so here's just a snippet of Penang through the lens, my favourite picks out of the bunch.

Cendol, to which Jia Yi hates and calls the green thing "green worm". Tsk tsk, I love mine without kacang, substitute with jagung, which taste really really awesome. We even went back for the second time before we left the food haven. The ones in KL would never give you so much jagung.

Wheee, I like jumping shots! (:
And we took a gazillion billion shots before we got a nice one.
The others were.. only me flying. others on the ground hahahaha.

"Life isn't about the breaths we take,
it's about the moments that take our breath away."

~Simon Natator

Sunsets always reminds me of this quote somehow. Spent almost half an hour waiting under the scorching hot sun (not that I'm complaining, my tan!) with the camera so that I won't miss that moment, and boy, it was so worth every moment. The silhouettes, the arrays of colors, the calm sea. It keeps playing on my mind again and again.

A passion.
Today's cell hit me right at the heart again.
Made me realize how small I am, how unmotivated.

My real horse ride. (:
So satisfying, even though it was merely fifteen minutes, especially when it's extra special.

At the back alley of their very ancient buildings.
I like this shot. Everyone looked so happy.

Fried oyster!! It was one of my top to do list in Penang, and had it for three meals. Glutton indeed. Hohoho, but it was so good, so fresh, so BIG. Those in KL are those scrawny unfreshed ones, or maybe I'm just a lousy food hunter.

View from our room. (:

Presenting to you, Flying Man! And Big Bullies vs Small Boy.
Tsk tsk.
Stupid silly random things done at 0600 hr in the morning.
Only showing two out of the bunch, way too embarassing.

See, we were in our sleeping clothes!
Because smart people like us sleep at dawn, and when it's time for breakfast cannot wake up. Hence, rushing and all we just wore what we slept in.

Oh by the time this shot was taken, we were all very gross looking and half dead already. Smeared eyeliners, and icky sweat. Hehehe, but you know, I still like this picture, the focus so sharp. (: And thank you for coming all the way even though it was only for a day. I appreciate it you know? Really one.

Lights that came back with me. (:
So bedazzling, joyful happy light balls.
I'm super glad with this buy ok, apart from dvds, and my bubble blower!
Hohoho.

To sum it all up, it was inexplicably fuuuunnnn. Mainly because there's no one to scold you for doing stupid things, sleeping late till you miss half the good morning aways, being with people you love, (: and yes, we all need to relax once in awhile. Now that I've gain a good few kgs over the years, it's time to lose them, I need to start my Live Life Healthy plan already. Need some implementations, and some discipline.
