sweat plus mud

all geared up for my first hiking trip for the year! =) rar! hehe. actually because of the movie yesterday i didnt really pack. so i was underpack. all i had was a few packet of maggi, a can of luncheon meat, my sleeping bag, one sweater. i totally forgotten bout my extra shirt plus i didnt bring my penknife since i couldnt find it. oh well. really unprepared huh. but anyway, the hike was incredibly terrible. hah. cuz we hike up 1000+ meters, all steep road without flat roads. total hours spend- 8 hours. whoa! with loads of lil scratches and bites on my leg. my poor leg! plus loads of complaining too. hah. obviously. this bunch of unfit people climbing up such a steep mountain. spend the night up there in tents. with own cook food. guess it was the most delicious meal of maggi mee plus brahim's and luncheon. mMm. well, everything will taste good if you hike for eight hours and stranded in a jungle rite? xp

the next morning coming down was a better one. well. =) hah. half of us practically slip and slide down the whole way with all our butts. not me tho! heh. i didnt want to dirty my pants. well, in the end i did cause everyone slip and falls. plus my shoe grip totally gave in. so oh well.
lesson learnt. never wear shorts when going for a hike. plus bring loads of repellent. but i felt the sense of achievement of hiking all the way up. really proud! hah. should have seen all of us. all dusted with mud plus sweat. *glee* i am happy to be back in civilization now. *whee*

Live a life that matters

heh. so back to the holidays. yup. my first holidays officially started on friday,26th may. Due to lack of entertainment, i really thank bryant for the eleven episodes of "kioku- one litres of tears" he borrowed me for the holidays.

i tell you, the show is absolutely.. saddening plus meaningful.. really. good show. worth watching. i finished the whole eleven hours in a day. prove that it really is a show that's good. well, with lots of tissues and a swollen eye after that though. touching.

briefly, the show is about this girl, Ikeuchi Aya , having this incurable disease, a torturing disease that slowly sucks your life out. it starts out with having motor imbalance(not able to walk properly), then later can't write properly, cant swallow food and all. really sad. well, despite all this, this strong willed girl managed to impact others by writing.

it made me realise how fortunate i am to be just a healthy ordinary girl. sometimes we just take things for granted and always hoping for more. i guess there is a reason for everything to happen. go get the show and watch, and you will realize how powerful family love is, with support from friends can do to someone. how determination can touch others. enough said. ='(
