mamak day

jia, sook teng and zi yan came over to my college today to visit me. so nice of them yea. king was supposed to come along, but then his grandma got admitted to the hospital so...

oh well, its fine. so we walked around college quite sesatly. ( of cuz not sesat for me, cuz i am familiar with the place what. haha.) finally settled down at the cafeteria to have a drink and pretzels and more chit-chatting. haha. thats what gurls do yea. =p

and i did my oral presentation today. luckly it was just a trial round, i didnt even know bout it, neither did i prepare, and i was number two. 2!! what a great number. ish. so yup, as expected, i did horribly terrible. like seriously horrendous. =( it did spoilt my mood a lil. gosh. there's another one tmr, i better not screw it up. pray to God.

well. the weekend was wel spent in pd doing kayaking! sounds so fun yea. like what i thought it will turn out. hot sunny weather with salty sea water with lovely breeze, calm sea.. but no..

ended up we had rough waves (whiich literally make our kayaking so so so much tougher) , instead of hot sunny sun we had a downpour of rain, and i got all sea sick and tired..

funniest thing of all, my kayak got stuck in the rocks. hah! yup. so ended up i got so many lil lil scratches on the bottom of my feet now, which hurts so much. And we didnt make it to our destination ( an island supposedly), but we reached a nearer smaller island. Shivering cold, clad with only sleeveless top and shorts plus a life jacket, sitting out in the rain. haha. had cold bread with tuna mayo for lunch, under the rain.

though it sound so horrible, i kinda savour the moment now. yup,it was definitely bitter cold on the island with no protection, it definitely will be a lifetime experience i will treasure. =) Thank the Lord for keeping each and everyone of us safe and sound though the sea was so rough. ( one kayak did capsized, while one really got stuck till they made a hole in the kayak and needed the lifeboat to safe them, while one drifted so so far away. ) so it wasnt as simple as it sound.

okie, i gtg back to my research project plus preparation for my oral presentation tmr, dun wanna screw up nemore. plus i m going for futsal tmr! =) ciaozz peeps.

today's italy and australia. haha. go aussies!
