The last of 2007

Typing this makes me feel a little euphoria, seeing the year coming to an end.The year's been filled with much memories, some good, some bad. But God's been good to me, granting more grace than ever whenever I stumble. Learning is a part of life, and I appreciate all the true friends that stick by me through thick and thins (you know who you are). The new year's resolution will be simple, change. Change to be a better someone, to prove myself.

Anyway, these are the few last bits of 2007. 'twas a full blast december.

20-22nd Dec'07- Fraser's was rejuvenating, in the sense it gave me time for just plain relaxation, free of the hustle bustle of the busy city, albeit it was a tad boring when all you do is eat, and be a couch potato. We stayed in a dainty humble lil' bungalow overlooking much view, with breeze blowing every second or so, where it took a whole puff of energy to walk the flight of stairs to get to the house itself. But it was all so worth it, the weather was the most rewarding.

Nike's in Fraser's
Put to good use as lazy ol' me went walking around the area. Mind you, the area was really steep, and I did much walking. 3km, maybe?

Where technology is pretty limited there, survived through with a really bad line, and entertainment by watching balls of fury on the ipod.

Of one of the sports equipment available in the gym room.
Old and torn, though it makes it a pretty good shot.

Nature is the best friend you can get there. Beautiful landscape.
No photoshop-ing was even required.

The plants and flowers stirred the itchy fingers to get into some action.
Beautiful place for building portfolios.

Random shot taken after a jog.

Of a bbq and wine, christmas was good.
The christmas play was smooth going, bringing smiles all round.

Work sometimes bores you, and your fingers get itchy, and you start playing with whipped cream and choc drizzle etc etc. FUN. (:

15th Dec '07 -Twas good catching up with lernz, who introduced me to this particular shop that sells awesome oyster mee suah. Mouth watering for a reasonable price.
Oyster! (:

Amanda's birthday dinner@her mansion
Alcohols, food, everything was abundant.
Happie birthday girl!
Hope you'll put the prezzie from us to good use.
(:

26th-30th Dec'07 ~ Down south to Singapore
I "betrayed" Starbucks by slurping up Mocha Ice Blended.
Teehee. What? No obligations also.
(:

Sentosa Island was tons of fun.

If you ever do drop by Singapore, I strongly recommend this.
Songs of the Sea. Brilliant and enthralling.
I really enjoyed it much.

The penguins are sooooo cute! (:
Doesn't it look like I'm in Australia or something?
Singapore Zoo is pretty brilliant.
Sealions are very utterly cute too!

Ookay, I'm off.
Running late already. (:

Happy New Year everybody!

Hugs*

"So close to reaching that famous happy end,
Almost believing this was not pretend
And now you're beside me

And look how far we'v
e come
So far we are so close"

It was beautiful.
Not to mention sweet as well.

It was even better that it was not an obligation.
Mere surprise, a smile.

"To stay close,
there is a constant need to fill the friendship with love and care,
not forgetting time.
If there is no commitment to that particular friendship,
it's merely a blooming flower withering as time passes."

I finally gotten to watch this show about Jane Austen.
Heavily accented, using classic english, without subtitles resulted in me having to really pay loads of attention to watch that movie. Ahha, which resulted in much intermission.

Ended up, I took four hours to finish that show on Jia's laptop. And to find out that the show was what inspired Jane to write about Mr. Darcy, pride and prejudice. Honestly? I don't really dig this kind of show, even though it's good.

Jia's having her exams real soon, and her family flew to Florida, so being a good friend, I went over to accompany her for a sleepover. I think I distracted you too much though. From conversations about maids and random things, it's good to have quality time with you again. Really. (:

Thanks for being so hospitable towards your dear friend over here even though you had so little sleep and so much to study. Even letting me sleep soooo long. Hahaha.

Something really got me all frustrated and it got worse today. I needed to get out and let loose and you were nice enough to drive me out for a talk, and for some window shopping. Ended up talking over fried oysters, which I think is really way toooo oily, but yet delicious. Overly -peperish-that-awake-your-senses Sup tulang and fries works wonders, adding to the little things that make you smile in life.

I really did enjoy the heart to heart talk tonight, it clears my mind off things that bugs me, and cheers me for having someone to share it with, to whom I trust. Of future plans, distressing issues, boys, clothes, we covered vaguely, if only we had more time. It really wasn't enough for me, I swear I can rant the whole night away, and listen to your stories the whole night too.

Thanks for the sharing and listening over the night, and for the stupid random stuff we do. I know this line always repeats itself everytime we go out, but I just can't help it.

Tmr I bring big bag and get ready k? You just wait and see for Rosanne to get into action.
Hehehehe.

Everyday I love you~Boyzone

Work is getting annoying.
Too much washing and cleaning etc etc, till I'm getting very fed up.
And even slabs of moisturiser isn't helping the dying skin.
So say hi to quiting, and bye to starbucks.

And I can feel the real holidays coming! (:
Have a merry joyous season greeting from me in advance.

Wild horses~Natasha Beddingfield

And I finally got my horse ride. It was waaaaaay too short though, and the horse wasn't handsome enough. Oh yes, I think I'm having sugar rush now, been too hyper today.
Thanks to Paddington's treasure box, which is excessively overdose with maple syrup, and strawberries and blueberries.

The presentation of colors itself made me smile. (:
Thank you for bringing me out today even though it was so rush.
Haha, and you won't believe it, but I changed in the shop itself.
I'm good at being efficient. Teehee.

Christmas is popping by soon enough, yet I don't even feel a tinge of excitement yet. I hope for a good christmas, not for the presents, but just for the time spent with friends and family, and for the season to be meaningful. Because soon enough, it will be the start of a new year, and everything will undergo major changes.

Go watch Enchanted, to be enchanted yourself.
(:
I loved that show, especially that song.
"I've been dreaming of a true love kiss.... "

Off to catch some sleep, work at 9am tmr.
Blah.
