Boys and Guys

Soph tagged me this quite awhile ago, but I totally forgot about it.
But now, my blogging inspiratino got back, so here I am, with the tag. (:

RULES:
1. The tag victim has to come up with 8 different points about his/her perfect lover.
2. Have to mention the gender of his/her perfect lover.
3. Tag eight other victims to join this game and leave a comment on their blog.
4. If you are tagged the second time, there is NO need to do this again.
5. Lastly, and most importantly, HAVE FUN DOING IT.

I think I will make this more of how to be the perfect gentlemen in girl's eyes. It's easier. (:

1. Guys need to be good at listening. Apparently too many guys think that they are know-it-all and talk way too much. It irritates me to a certain extent, and I really hate it. You should really hear what girls have to say sometimes, because girls aren’t as bimbo as you think. In fact, I think girls are way smarter than guys in certain areas. So, don’t argue with us. You definitely will lose in the end.

2. Honesty. Well, I really can't imagine being with someone who's always lying to me. I think that this is one of the most fundamental thing to build in a relationship. Once you fail in being honest with each other, your relationship only goes downhill. Sad, but true.

3. Caring, loving, yaddayadda. All the normal characteristics that every girl seeks for in a guy. Well, every gentlemen ought to know this. But what sums up to being caring and loving is to be able to come up with those small little gestures, e.g. offer to hold books without being asked, and small lil sweets.. it really DOES make a difference. Try asking any girls and see.

4. Tolerance. This is one of the most important thing to keep the relationship stable, I guess. Girls are very fickle and change their minds easily while guys set up their minds quick, and they won't change. That's why girls take forever to shop while guys take only one hour to get all their stuff. Guys really need to practise up on tolerating on girl's attitude, especially our mood swings. I know it ain't easy, but it's really easy to cheer a girl up you know?

5. Humor. Yes, humor is an absolute must have in a guy. People who are so serious in life are hard to get along. Humor also brings out the fun in a person, and what's there to look for if a guy is always in a moody look and is so dry in words. There's a possibility that the guy who lacks humor can be romantic, but we're still young, we need not be so serious in life. Am I right?

6. If you want to impress a girl, surprises is the way to go. Not in the sense that you scare the girl with fake cockroaches or pull a prank, that is a big No-No. I mean by coming up with things that is unexpected and sweet. Yea, those sweet little gestures that put smiles on both your faces. It could be a small little hand made card accompanied with a lollipop which doesn't have to bomb your wallet, yet it would mean sooo much to a girl. Note, HAND-MADE card. It doesn't have to be extremely nice, it just needs originality. Oh, but if you're loaded, you can do something more, i.e. get her that heels she always wanted without informing her (note: you need to be very sure of her taste and size though).

7. Doesn't get heated up easily, also known as cool-temper guy. C'mon, who loves someone who gets angry every five minutes? None. Even though the girl does something really really bad like dirtying your favourite shirt with chocolate cake accidentally, you need not shout at her. Brush it off if she is sincere enough and forgive her. Your friendship isn't worth to be destroyed by the shirt, go home and use Vanish, and it'll be as good as new. And every girl likes Mr. nice guys.

8. This is a little something extra. I think the ability to play a music instrument really is a plus point for a guy. I fall hard for musicians, especially guitarist, nope, not the electric type, but acoustic and classical. (: It just melts a girl's heart when you play for her. Romantic-ness. Haha, yea guys can go sign up for guitar lessons now. Better still, learn piano, the bomb. Even if you're as geeky as that guy in Beauty and the Geek, once you play the piano so beautifully, you will become a magnet. Heh.

I'm done.
And am smiling.

I tag: Suewei, Amanda, Esther, Eunice, Waelern, Marianne, Lynn, Kinz, Pat

Schedule (for self)
1. Marketing assignment
2. Marketing mid terms
3. Macro assignment
4. Business Law assignment
5. Accounting assignment
6. Rangers stuff

Physically drained.

PDA's

The abbreviation for public display of affection. I just had the itch to talk about it. Mind me. Everywhere you go, you just tend to bump into people doing PDA's. Gosh, so oblivious to the world wide world staring. I mean, it isn't bad if it's a hug and/or a sweet gesture, e.g. holding hands, tlight kiss on the cheek, that's normal, but OTT kissing and touchings are just plain gross.

Not everyone is interested in seeing PDAs, unless you're some celebrity or some famous shot. But then again, I guess Malaysians are getting more and more accustomed to what the whites do, and try to imitate their culture. Okay, maybe I AM being a little old fashion in thinking, but don't people want to keep their dignity? I mean, people who see PDAs will go like," ewww, look at those two, so disrespectful, and that girl is so cheap and despo..." especially from parents point of view. I mean, if I were to hear that, I seriously will feel so bad and all, unless you're that thick skin. Well, but then again, I supposed they are a few places that are exception to this, like clubs and bars and those kind of similars, but other places such as shopping mall and colleges are just inappropriate for PDAs.

That's a rant from my point of view, because I happened to bump into some today, and it really makes me very uncomfortable. If you opposed it, you're welcome for a comment or two. (:

On the other hand, Malaysia is celebrating it's 50th birthday in two days time. And I am suprise that up till today, there isn't any atmosphere at all. How sad. Out of 50 cars, I see one with a small flag dangling at the top left corner of the car. Other than that, a few shopping malls made a tad bit effort to put up flags and all. How very very sad. Well, I am not a very patriotic person, and neither have I put a flag on my car, this is just a thought. 50 years is a gemilang year, supposedly the golden one. Where is the Malaysian spirit? Heehee, just to kutuk a little only. Personally, I couldn't be bothered too, except for the additional holiday.

Before I go, presenting to you,
Bobbi Brown

It's from pyramid's make-a-bear thing.
Very fun indeed. (:

I cannot start foosball again. NOoooooooo.

p/s: New Zealand Natural ice cream is having 50% off all selection, for this few days to celebrate Merdeka. Go get 'em ice creams! (:

And........... I'm done.

Monday blues. Grrrr.
The lecturer better give me HD this time.
I really spend effort doing it.

Lord, please grant me strength for tomorrow and the whole week, as I endure through countless workloads and stress.
Amen.

And I think that I express a little too much in the blog.
I think I should start surpressing things back.
Not blab all out.

Off to my book in bed. (:
Best time of the day.

Of a simple garden party and the apartment

The week's been filled with assignment as usual, and finally I get a little rest from those never ending ones, apart from the weekly marketing assignment. Bah.

Am feeling sleepy. And even decline to go for badminton.
Which is such an odd thing for me.

Climbing up the hinges of tennis courts, and having a great time feeling high up hanging banners. Ended up kena scolding for destroying public goods.
Jorr.

The lovely bunch of us.
With two more leaving. ):

Cmdr Deanna is leaving to Abu Dhabi.
Will definitely miss her, her sporting-ness, and her ability to lead so well, and her cares towards rangers. May the Lord bless you abundantly over there in Abu Dhabi where you can be a light unto the others over there. (:

The sky was a beauty. Now I know the best timing to take garden shots.
Evening glory. (:
And yes, my camera's shutter speed is too slow to take moving objects without flash.
So sad.

Sue ann! Been a blessing to know you.
You are one of the sweetest person I've ever known, really.
Always smiling and never angry. (:
All the best to you when you fly over to UK, it's gonna be one heck of an experience, with more new friends, new surrondings.
Gonna miss you loads.

Nyeh-heh.
I finally got myself the spongebobsquarepants tissue holder from Macdonalds.
It's a tad bit expensive, a little out of shape though.
Thanks jord! (:

Logen is also leaving Malaysia to Canada in three days time. Everyone seems to be leaving. Malaysia is going to be lonely soon.
We had the farewell party at the apartment.

Good concept. Love the ambience and style.

Us. Taken by the negro waiter. Service is bad there.

Our food. Food is bland over there. Nothing extraordinary or orgasmic.
Infact, I think I can cook better.

Backyard salad. (taste: horrible)

Jamie's pasta.

Andrew's pasta. Is not bad. (:

Chicken in a bag. It was the best one among all, at least it was warm.

Chocolate Mousse! (:
Thumbs up for this. Only this.
But I think it's still overpriced.
Stupid. I'm not going there anymore.
Maybe only for drinks. Which is upstairs with loads of comfy squishy cushions. (:

Logen, have a great time over there!
Eat loads of Krispy Kremes, and if you ever do come back, you know what to do.
Hee.

Gym is quite fun, really.
Went for the last day today, and the trial is over.
And I thought tomorrow was the last day, at least can go to soph's class and laugh laugh abit.
Potong stim.

Steam bath is cool hot giler, but you feel sooooo good after it.
It open up our pores and clears dirt. Hee. (:

I still wanna swim. My swimming plans are still failing. Grr.
Blame it on the super hectic schedule I have. Especially assignments.

I should sleep.

P/s: keng, i want the pictures! Haha, then I can post it here and laugh. Quickie! (:

Having you in my life completes me

Marketing assignment is due in less than ten hours time, and here I am releasing some tension from it. I'm still tired, with aches due to the activities lined up during the weekend, and I can now look longingly at the bed, but yet have to force myself to stay alert and complete the task. Tomorrow's going to be a looong day too. Rarr.

Saturday was spend running around KL through Lrt's and Monorails. As a marshall I no longer get to join in the excitement of the race, but watching the participants running around (especially those lil kids) really made me smile as I think back on the days when I was their age. So naive to the world outside. Anyway, the sister's team won, and were loaded with cash prize and vouchers. Jealousnya. Nah, I'm very proud of her actually. She deserves it badly for doing so well.

Owh, and Esther, a big thank you for being such a darling to listen to all my rambles. Really.
Appreciate it loads, and thinking back on that sampat thing we did, running all the way back to times square did crack me up, although we were too late. We could have won, didn't we? (:

Headed for dinner and Monash carnival/motor roadshow with Jord after that. Seeing it as the first motorshow I've been, it wasn't that bad, but I'm no car enthusiast, so it was a little bland after that. But there was a Ferarri there, and driftings and those fires that puff out from the exhaust, I'm pretty impressed. Oh, the main reason I went was to see Sue and Shirmin dance her street dance. Cool one yo! (:

Off to my marketing assignment.
Lalala. Sleep-deprived.

I work soooooo well under pressure..

... and ONLY under pressure.

"Holding anger is a poison. It eats you from the inside. We think that hating is a weapon that attacks the person who harmed us. But hatred is a curved blade.
And the harm we do, we do to ourselves."

~Mitch Albom, The Five People You Meet in Heaven

I'm in for a quote day. Inspired by good writings and such perfect literature. And Mitch Albom is one of my favourite writer, his writings are so simple yet so meaningful. I have to learn to teach myself how to cool down from getting over heated, and to learn about forgiveness.

I'm missing someone badly right now. I wished I could turn back time, like Hiro in Heroes. I don't really want to think so deep about the happenings anymore, as long as friendship is concern. Friends are your backbones in life anyway, without them, you slowly will wither, without realizing it.

Business law assignment is due tomorrow, and I'm glad to say that I'm almost done with it. Just another 200 words, and a lil touch up, and it'll be good. I can feel the satisfaction coming along when I finish it later on tonight. I hope that I won't procrastinate due to a fiction I just got hold of, Innocence by Kathleen Tessaro. Beautiful writings from the book, which really made me think twice to be a writer and pianist. But then again, lacked the creativity and am not spontaneous enough.

Okay, I'm off to some dozing off and reading the book, then finishing the assignment and calling it a day. Gosh, I'm tired.

I lost the sense of belonging

I need somewhere to vent the feelings bottling inside, and this is the only place to.
I'm being so open for the first time.
I don't really care anymore.
Sometimes I feel that Christians themselves are such hypocrites.
(not insulting the religion)
But, I felt it.

Whatever la, in the end, I will just shove the feeling to the bottom of my heart.
Hoping it won't resurface again.
It's so normal anyway.

Heck it.

Official class gathering of 5Lily2005

It's been sort of a tradition when everytime Jia comes back from UK, we will definitely have a class gathering. We should owe it all to Jiayi for making the effort to go through the class list and contact everyone, persuading people to come. It was indeed a success. 30 plus people made it out of the 44 people in the class. Great job done, jia! (:

We settled in for Yuen's steamboat after much contemplation.
Thank God for bookings, we had good tables.
Teehee. So many others were waiting outside.

I didn't had a shot of the TomYam soup.
But it was good. Seriously yummy. (:

Admit that these chicken wings are over-rated.
Fancy people fighting over it.
It's like once it comes out, within a minute, the tray is empty.
Craziness.

Yuen's has a great variety of clams, ranging from mussels and la-la.
I love that bamboo shells ones. Soooooo good.

After filling our hungry tummies, picture time.
I'm not putting much words because I'm tired, and I need sleep.

Owh. This two pictures are so farnie. Spot the difference.
(Hint:facial expressions)
Hahahaha.

I had some time editing. (:
And I found out that you can do this blur background thing without a DSLR.
Just that it doesn't look that natural.

Desaturation effect. I likey. (:
Plus red looks good. It stands out.

We just had to go somewher for a drink after yuen's.
Sky cafe it was.

Self timer effect. (:
Good shot eh?

Okay, I'm done. (:
Toodles.

I need to stop blogging.
Cuz I got far too many things more important than this.

Go ahead. Try me.

"I'd believed that it doesn't matter what you do, it's matters most on who you do it with."
True bold statement. If you're with someone you're comfortable with, just sitting by the roadside looking at the stars, with a can drink, talking and laughing your souls out is going to be so much better than going to one of the finest dining areas with people you find awkward to be with. It just boils down to the people. People can make such a huge difference in life, don't they?

Life isn't getting on better when the assignment workloads are overpouring down on you. Besides that, this semester is much tougher than the previous one in terms on the studying you have to do. Most of what we learn in last semester are just repeats of the foundation year, and when it came to this semester, all things are new, and the learning process gets tougher, though it's much more interesting than repeating over and over again. Law is kinda fun, more like reading stories of how people find small little issues to sue big ass companies for compensation. Human nature.

Though I had all those heavy workloads, I still crack out my time and procastinate my work for fun sake. Monday was spend having cupcake baking session with the girls, alongside with two other awesome dishes, potato gratin and pasta. The whole house was bombarded with icing sugar and laughter, plain joy. (:

Syok-sendiring with candles we bought.
Long candles are niiiiiiccceee. (:

Trickles sprinkles of colours, and the results you get.
Amazing range of colours, making you feel happy when you look at them.
Very diabetic though. Over-rated sweetness.

Soph, we didn't forget you.
See???
We're nice. Teehee.

And we had a mixture of a dunnowhatcolour, which actually is an ugly colour, so we used it for our names. "Engraved" on our cupcakes. Special touch. (:

On a random note,
Alex loved the cupcakes. (:
Boy and Kahkit too.

Alex. Kahkit.
This two doinks are the people I hang out in college with daily.
Which drives me crazy with their insanity. And dirty thoughts.
Nevertheless, they rocked my uni life. (:
Hee. Owh, they love camwhoring.

Been watching alot of tv too.
Ghost whisperer is gooooood.
Mainly because of JenniferLoveHewitt.
I love her eyes. (:
H-O-T.
(fung keng will certainly agree with me hundred percent)

Reminder to self: Marketing assignment due monday, buslaw due thurs, accounts due soon. Gargh.

Wednesday, August 8, 2007

Sleeping at 6am and waking up at 9am. My crazee day.

It's been a hiatus weekend, jam packed with activities. Come to think of it, I'm already fallen behind in my homework. Tooo many things piling up. Teehee.
I need to get back into focus.

The things I do when I had assignments to finish. Followed Ziyan and Sookteng to HELP coll to collect their pin or something for their results thingy, along with jia. Headed over to Bangsar Shopping Village for Chilli's. Cravings.

Bottomless toscada chips.
I could sit there the whole day and just munch on those if time allowed.
Main dishes weren't taken because we were too hungry.
We embarrassed ourselves, so I vow not to go to Chillis in Bangsar for the next few months.
And ziyan did such a silly thing. (:

Evening shot of Monash. Landscaping there is goood.
Just give it a few more years, and the trees will be so shady, that you can get a book and sit under the tree and read. My imagination.

Random shot. My hair doesn't look short actually.
It was. My hair just grows too fast.
That's why it looked long again.

My artistic shot with the poser. Grasses are so pretty.

I'm very sleepy right now. Blame the lack of sleep.
And I have morning classes tmr, haven't even touched my homework.
I shall go sleep.
Have a nice day peeps!

Sugar rush cup cakes! More details on the next post i hope. (:

Thursday, August 2, 2007

I'm hungry.
I can't believe I am so hardworking to be doing my assignments.
I think that jamoca almond fudge ice cream is yummy.
I mind that my phone battery is on the verge of dying.
I think Monash's library is too noisy.
I'm going insane.

Byebye.
